Is it safe to use an unofficial WhatsApp API? +

What happens when I exceed 30 recipients on Trial? +
Once you reach 30 unique recipients, messages will be blocked until you upgrade to Pro. Your account, settings, and phone connection stay intact — just upgrade and continue.
Can I add multiple phone numbers? +
Yes. You can add multiple WhatsApp numbers to one account. Each phone has its own independent plan — for example, one phone on Trial and another on Pro. Additional Pro phones cost ₹900/month each.
Is there a yearly plan or discount? +

Setup & Technical

How do I connect my WhatsApp number? +
1. Register and log in to your dashboard.
2. Click "Add Phone" and give it a name.
3. A QR code will appear — scan it with WhatsApp on your phone (Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device).
4. Your phone is now connected. Start sending via API or dashboard.
Do I need to keep my phone turned on? +
After the initial QR scan, WAPDeskPro maintains the WhatsApp session on the server. Your phone does not need to be nearby or connected to the internet — the server handles everything 24/7.
What programming languages can I use? +
Any language that supports HTTP requests: Python, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Go, Ruby, C#/.NET, and more. You can also use no-code tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, or Pabbly Connect.
Can I receive incoming messages? +
Yes. Set up a webhook URL in your dashboard or via API. WAPDeskPro will send a real-time POST request to your URL whenever someone sends a message to your connected WhatsApp number.
What media types can I send? +
You can send: plain text, images (JPG, PNG, WEBP), videos (MP4), documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX), audio (MP3, OGG), stickers, and location pins with coordinates.

AI Auto-Reply Bot

What is the AI Auto-Reply bot? +
The AI bot automatically replies to incoming WhatsApp messages using AI (Google Gemini or OpenAI GPT). You write a system prompt describing how your business should respond, and the AI handles customer queries 24/7 — no code required.
Which AI providers are supported? +
Currently supported: Google Gemini (Gemini 2.5 Flash — free tier available) and OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini, GPT-3.5 Turbo). You bring your own API key from either provider.
Is the AI bot free? +
The AI bot feature is included in Pro plan. Google Gemini has a free API tier (no charge for moderate usage). OpenAI charges per API call based on your OpenAI account. WAPDeskPro does not charge extra for AI usage — you pay the AI provider directly.
Does the bot remember previous messages? +
Yes. The AI has context memory — it remembers the last N messages in the conversation (configurable from 5 to 50). Chat history is also stored in the dashboard for up to 1 month for your review.
Can the bot reply in Hindi or other languages? +
Yes. You can set a preferred language in the AI settings. The bot will always respond in that language (Hindi, English, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, etc.). You can also leave it on Auto to detect and match the customer's language.

Integrations

Can I integrate with Google Sheets? +
Yes. Provide a Google Sheet ID (with phone numbers in column A), and WAPDeskPro will send your message to all contacts in that sheet. Make the sheet publicly readable first.
Does it work with Zapier or Make? +
Yes. Since WAPDeskPro uses a standard REST API, you can connect it to Zapier, Make, n8n, Pabbly, or any automation tool that supports HTTP/webhook actions.
Can I use it with WooCommerce or Shopify? +
Yes, via API or automation tools. Trigger order confirmations, shipping alerts, and abandoned cart messages from WooCommerce or Shopify by calling the WAPDeskPro API from your store's webhook or via Zapier/Make.
